Beautiful, extraordinary and witty... a true inspiration to all
who happily meet her. Carol , is known lovingly as "CC," to
her legions of friends ... including US Presidents, celebrities,
scuba divers, and of course, the music industry where she always
shines.
CC is a petite, 4’11,1/2" ball of fire! She is talented as a
singer, composer, lyricist and speaker. She is a true Scorpio, a
water baby. Her career started as the lead singer of the Teddy
Bears. Phil Spector, her classmate, fell in love with her voice and
wrote the song "To Know Him Is To Love Him" for her voice.
(The words of the title came from his father’s epitaph.) Elvis fell
in love with her voice and wanted to meet her. He did, and that’s
how Elvis became her first love.
Carol has been recognized worldwide for her talents. She has
earned gold and platinum records, been nominated for 10 major music
awards including Emmy’s, Grammy’s, Golden Globes and – 2 Oscars
(including co-writing the theme for "Rocky", "Gonna Fly
Now")! Her song "With You I’m Born Again" is one of the
most loved and performed songs of our time. It is the song many
couples play for their first dance on their wedding day. She wrote
the theme for "Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous",
"Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams", sang by Dionne Warwick.
She also wrote, "You Can Be A Star" for "Star Search".
Carol is excited about one of her newest projects for Ed McMahon’s
new show, "The Next Big Star is You." She said, "I enjoyed
writing the music and co-wrote the lyrics with Ed. He is quite a
poet!"
"People often ask me, what does it take to achieve
your goals? CC’s answer is, You need to eat it...sleep
it...think it...drink it...and live it 100%...or forget it! That’s
how much you have to give of yourself to make it to the
top."
Carol enjoys traveling the world. One month, she’s the guest of
the Sultan in Brunei; the next month, she’s taking her girl friends
on an African photo Safari. Carol said, "I have had the pleasure to
spend time with some of the most important figures of our time, and
each has left me with wonderful stories. At the White House, I
remember President Reagan telling a story that Henry Kissinger had
told him regarding the difference between stupidity and diplomacy.
"If you see a woman and she’s not too attractive, and you say to
that woman - your face could stop a clock... that is stupidity. But,
if you see the same woman and say to that woman... every time I look
into your eyes, time stands still, that is diplomacy."
Recently, CC’s love of the ocean took her to the beautiful Cayman
Islands for the inauguration of the new "International Scuba
Diving Hall of Fame." Eighteen pioneers in the field were
inducted. "It was so touching to watch Lloyd Bridge’s daughter,
Lucinda, release a turtle back to the sea in honor of her father,"
said Carol. "Many scuba diving pioneers risked their lives to
explore the seas," she explained. Jean-Michele Cousteau was also
there to pay tribute to his father, and is continuing his father’s
dedication to the sea by establishing the "Ocean Future’s
Foundation." Carol believes, "Since 2/3 of the world’s surface
is covered by water, we must protect it. I am an avid scuba diver
and have gone around the world on diving trips exploring the oceans
and its inhabitants. The ocean is truly beautiful."
When we asked what was the best point of Carol’s life, she was
quick to answer, "I have loved every stage of my life. The best is
now and what will be, not what has been." Carol agrees with the
philosophy held by Jacques Cousteau. When he was asked, "Why do you
go on such an exploration? What do you expect to see?" He always
answered, "If I knew, I would not go." "This quote was the driving
force of the Calypso and is what I believe," said CC. "We
should all follow our dreams. Explore the unknown. And take
advantage of each day. Life is truly an exciting
journey!" Clientele Woman - proudly salutes Carol
.
CC says, "We must all work together to protect the
ocean environment! I urge everyone to support Jean Michele
Cousteau’s Ocean Future’s Foundation." To learn more how you

When the
brass ring comes around, make sure you grab it because it may not

What is…IS!
If you know
somebody is a snake, and you have to do business with them, don’t
stand in front of them!
Always remember, out of bad comes
good!
Always take credit when credit is due, but never...
ever... take credit when it doesn’t belong to you!
Failure is
an orphan. Success has many fathers!
The show biz saying is:
"If you hang in there, it’ll happen." My saying is: "If you don’t
hang in there, you could miss it by one split second!"
